Yesteryear actress, Padmini Kolhapure and Pradeep Sharma aka Tutu Sharma’s son, Priyank Sharma and his wife, Shaza Morani are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time in their lives. Thus, the doting would-be-grandparents hosted an intimate God Bharai ceremony, glimpses of which are going viral on the internet. The event was also attended by Padmini’s niece and ace actress, Shraddha Kapoor. For the unversed, after dating for more than 16 years, Priyank and Shaza had a court marriage in February 2021. Later, in March 2021, they tied the knot in the Maldives in a Christian-style wedding.

Taking to his IG handle, Priyank Sharma shared an array of pictures from the God Bharai ceremony organised for his wife, Shaza Morani. This was also the first post with which Priyank announced his and Shaza’s ‘good news’ to the entire world. For the ceremony, Padmini’s son and their bahu twinned in pink-hued ensembles, along with her in-laws, Padmini Kolhapure and Tutu Sharma. The mommy-to-be was seen radiating a pure pregnancy glow while flaunting her baby bump in a satin saree paired with statement jewellery. Sharing the pictures, Priyank wrote:

Priyank and Shaza’s God Bharai ceremony was also attended by his cousin and ace actress, Shraddha Kapoor. In many pictures shared by the actor, Priyank, we can spot Shraddha posing with the soon-to-be-parents and other ladies attending the event. For the intimate ceremony, Shraddha opted for a yellow-hued Anarkali dress, featuring golden zari works all over it. She teamed her look with a sheer dupatta, a simple hairdo and minimal accessories, including a Maharashtrian nath, and jhumkas. Moreover, subtle makeup, including blushed cheeks, a bindi and glossy lips, added stars to Shraddha’s Marathi look.

As per an old report in Zoom, Priyank Sharma’s wife, Shaza Morani is all set to deliver their first kid in March 2024. Thus, the report also claimed that the Sharma and Morani families are busy in preparation for welcoming the soon-to-be-born baby. Moreover, a while back, Shaza’s uncle, Mohammed Morani had confirmed the couple’s ‘good news’ and asked for privacy, in a conversation with the ETimes. Since then, a picture of Shaza flaunting her baby bump in an orange co-ord dress has been trending on social media, and in it, Shaza’s happiness is clearly visible.

Shaza opted for a lilac colour ‘Love Story’- embedded lehenga from ace designer, Kresha Bajaj’s collection for her grand wedding with Priyank. The lehenga depicted her 16-year-long love story with Priyank, along with many other elements from the ocean. It also had a love note from her husband stitched to it. Shaza completed her look with a green and gold polki necklace, earrings and matha patti. On the other hand, Priyank looked dapper in a white-hued bandhgala suit, and the then-newly wedded duo was seen happily posing for the lens.
