saif ali khan to be discharged soon: taimur visits abba with mom kareena kapoor

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is recovering from the injuries he sustained while trying to save his family from a burglar. Throughout his recovery, his loved ones have been by his side. On Sunday, his son Taimur Ali Khan and wife Kareena Kapoor Khan visited the actor, bringing some much-needed cheer.

Taimur spotted at hospital with mom Kareena

The mother-son duo were spotted by the paparazzi as they arrived to visit Saif in the hospital. Taimur looked excited to see his father, while Kareena appeared calm and composed.

Minutes before their arrival, Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Kemmu were spotted exiting the hospital. Sara and Ibrahim, the Devara actor’s children with his first wife, have also been regularly visiting their father. His mother, Sharmila Tagore, was also seen multiple times outside the hospital.

Saif’s discharge from the hospital is eagerly awaited by the family. The actor will reportedly get discharged from the Lilavati Hospital today.

How Taimur stood by abba after attack

It was Tim Tim who rushed his injured dad to the hospital with brother Ibrahim. A doctor revealed, “Saif Ali Khan came to Lilavati Hospital between 2.30 and 3 pm and we were told that he had come by auto with his child.”

The auto-driver who dropped them off also confirmed that the 7-year-old was by his father’s side. “It was only when we reached the hospital gate that he called the guard to fetch a stretcher, saying he was Saif Ali Khan. Then the person whose white kurta was soaked in blood got in the auto. I noticed he had neck and back injuries, but did not notice the hand injury. He (Saif) walked into the auto. There was a seven-eight year old boy who also boarded the rickshaw,” he told the media.

Meanwhile, the cops have already nabbed the accused. He is reportedly a Bangladeshi national who was working in a housekeeping agency.

Actor Saif Ali Khan’s rapid discharge from Lilavati Hospital after multiple surgeries has sparked debates. While some, like MP Sanjay Raut, call it a ‘medical miracle,’ doctors argue such recoveries are routine due to minimally invasive techniques. Queries arise regarding his swift recovery, with experts noting modern Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols enhance patient outcomes.

Neta questions Saif Ali Khan’s discharge from hospital in 5 days; not surprising, say doctors

MUMBAI: Actor Saif Ali Khan’s discharge five days after undergoing multiple surgeries for stab injuries is a topic of debate on social media, with some like Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut hailing it as a “medical miracle” and others questioning the “quick recovery”. Surgeons, though, maintained that Khan’s five-day recovery is “routine”.
“We live in an era of day-care surgeries,” said a south Mumbai-based neurosurgeon. “Patients get discharged five days after complex spine surgery,” said a neurosurgery professor from a public hospital, as “today’s minimally invasive techniques no longer need deep cuts or removal of bones to repair the spine”.
On Wednesday, a day after Khan waved to fans while entering Satguru Sharan in Bandra where he lives, MP Raut said, “This is a medical miracle.” Khan, he said, is a good actor in our country. “Son of Mansoor Ali Khan of Pataudi, husband of Kareena Kapoor, father of Taimur. No matter how deep the knife penetrated, the man is alive and walking home on his own feet. I think it is a miracle performed by the doctors at our Lilavati Hospital,” Raut said.
Shiv Sena functionary Sanjay Nirupam, though, said, “The video (Saif’s) raises questions.” His post on X said the knife penetrated 2.5 inches inside Khan’s back. “It was probably trapped inside. The operation continued for 6 hours continuously. All this happened on January 16… now it’s January 21. So fit as soon as you got out of the hospital? In just 5 days? Wonderful.”

Is it possible for someone to get discharged from hospital in four days in such a fit condition after going through this much, asked Nirupam. “I know that Saif Ali Khan is physically very fit, goes to the gym regularly, but is his immune system so strong that he can recover in four days?”
Quick recoveries are possible, said plastic surgeon Dr Rachana Tataria of Fortis Hospital, Mulund. “Recovery depends on the extent of injury and organs involved,” she said. In Khan’s case, nerves were possibly spared, and there was no direct injury to the spinal cord. “Globally, surgeries are planned using Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols so that patients are discharged early and don’t suffer infections,” she said. Surgeon Dr Arshad Ghulam Mohammed said, “The length of hospital stay isn’t surprising.” (With Malathy Iyer)
