In the wake of Saif Ali Khan’s shocking attack, his daughter Sara Ali Khan has been a pillar of strength, offering emotional support to both Saif and her mother, Kareena Kapoor. On the night of January 16, Saif Ali Khan was viciously attacked at around 2:30 AM. The assailant, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, a Bangladeshi national, had entered Saif’s residence with intentions of theft. The attacker, who had been working as a housekeeping staff member at a hotel under the alias Vijay Das, reportedly struggled with financial hardships. During the confrontation, he attacked Saif with a knife, causing severe injuries to his neck, shoulder, and spine.

Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim, who took him in an auto rickshaw. Saif underwent immediate surgery, during which doctors removed a 2.5-inch blade fragment from his spine. The police apprehended the suspect, and he was sent to five days of police remand. The police revealed that Shahzad entered India illegally and had previous criminal connections.

While Saif’s health is improving, the attack has left his family shaken. Despite the traumatic event, Sara Ali Khan has been providing unwavering support to both her parents, offering comfort to her mother Kareena during this emotionally taxing time.
