Saif Ali Khan’s Home Invasion: Horrific Details Emerge from That Night
The terrifying events of January 16th at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence in Bandra have come to light following a formal complaint by their domestic help, Ellyamma, at the Bandra Police Station. The complaint led to an FIR being registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for armed robbery, grievous hurt, and house trespass.
The Night of Horror
Ellyamma, who has been working with the Khan family for four years as a nanny, recounted the shocking events. She explained that around 2:30 AM, she heard unusual sounds. Initially, she thought it was Kareena checking on her sons, Taimur and Jeh. However, upon investigating, she realized something was amiss.
“I thought Kareena ma’am had come to check on Jeh baba. But when I saw the shadow of a man emerging from the bathroom and trying to enter Jeh’s room, I immediately raised the alarm,” Ellyamma told the police.
The Intruder’s Actions
When the intruder saw Ellyamma, he threatened her, saying, “Koi awaaz nahi, koi bahar nahi jayega” (“No sound, and no one will leave”). Despite the threat, she courageously picked up Jeh in her arms. However, the intruder attacked her with a wooden stick and a blade, injuring her wrist.
When she asked what he wanted, the intruder demanded ₹1 crore.
Saif and Kareena Respond
Hearing the commotion and Ellyamma’s cries, Saif and Kareena rushed out of their bedroom. Saif confronted the intruder, asking, “Who are you? What do you want?” The intruder, in response, attacked Saif six times with a sharp blade.
Taimur’s nanny, Geeta, also tried to intervene but was similarly attacked.
Chaos and Resolution
Amid the chaos, the intruder locked himself in one of the bedrooms. Hearing the noise, male staff members rushed to assist, leading to further dramatic developments.
Investigation and Aftermath
The police are now investigating the case, gathering evidence, and reviewing security footage. The bravery of the staff, especially Ellyamma, has been lauded as they risked their lives to protect the family.
