Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007. The actress welcomed her first child with Abhishek, Aaradhya in 2011. And since then Aishwarya-Aaradhya has been mother-daughter goals.

From walking the ramp together to spending quality time with each other, Aishwarya’s bond with her daughter is all things love. She is a protective mother and she loves keeping Aarahdya by her side. Recently on Aaradhya’s birthday, Aishwarya shared a cute snap of kissing her which went viral.

1. When Aishwarya confessed to the media

Once during a conversation with Hindustan Times, Aishwarya had said, “Aaradhya has seen it (the limelight) since birth and I would like to think she is used to it. At one point when we were walking, she was in a great mood, even as people clicked pictures. She was laughing and saying something funny. But when Aaradhya saw these people (photographers) coming, she just wanted to stop in her tracks and squatted on the floor. I knew it was time for me to pick her up. I just wanted everyone to be safe, including my child. It is just a protective instinct, I keep her close.”

2. Aishwarya takes care of Aardhya’s classes

Abhishek Bachchan once revealed in an interview that it was Aishwarya who takes a special interest in their daughter’s education. He said,“Apart from that, she is, you know, fine — very normal about these things. She sees our films and she enjoys them. She takes the [paparazzi] in her stride. Her mother has trained her nicely.” Abhishek then said, “This department is Aishwarya’s. I have realized I’m not very good at that (sic).

3. Aishwarya had said that protection is the main thing for parents

Once in an interview with Pinkvilla, Aishwarya had revealed the reason why she is protective about Aaradhya. She said, “Protect is the keyword, and it’s the natural instinct of every parent. There’s no getting away from this; it is who we are. And we’ll be like this, I like saying, till my last breath. Having said that, however much we would like to discuss it, it’s not going away. This is the way of our chosen life, this is part of our industry.”

4. When Aishwarya cried in public for Aarahdya

At a children’s hospital event, Aishwarya lost her cool and asked the paps to keep it down as Aarahdya and the other kids got scared of all the loud noises. In the video, she could be seen getting teary-eyed as the noise did not get softer.

5. Takes her for events

Aaradhya Bachchan accompanied mom Aishwarya to the 72nd Festival de Cannes and they walked the ramp together. How cute! Aishwarya makes sure she takes her daughter for major events.
