Actor Saif Ali Khan, who was recently attacked by an intruder in his home and underwent surgery, is now back home. The actor was stabbed while he was trying to save his family in an alleged robbery attempt and it was his 8-year-old son Taimur, who accompanied him to the hospital. Lalita D’Silva, who previously worked for the family in the capacity of Taimur’s nurse and nanny, recently shared that she was “shocked” to learn that Taimur accompanied Saif and praised his “strong mindset.”

Lalita spoke to India Today Digital and shared that a friend of hers working at Lilavati Hospital told her that Saif was accompanied by Taimur, which was confirmed by the doctors as well. Reports, however, suggest that they also had staff members accompanying them. “Both of them were alone. It really shocked me that little Taimur took his father to hospital. At his age, the child’s mindset is so strong, that’s unimaginable,” she said.
Lalita was asked if there were any cameras in the house and she told the publication that there were cameras inside Taimur’s room when she was working with the family, but she did not say anything about the current status of CCTV cameras inside the house. She was also quizzed about how an intruder could have entered Saif and Kareena’s apartment and said, “I have no idea about where he came from and how he entered. It is really a surprise. How will anybody know that he is entering, or he’s going to do such things? There are many officers coming and going for work. You’ve seen the building outside. I don’t know how he could have entered.”

She also praised Saif’s bravery and resilience, and said that Taimur will be just as strong as his father. She also praised Kareena’s disciplined nature. “He (Saif) is like a lion. He is a Nawab, after all… Blue blood. I really respect Saif sir – what a strong personality inside and outside. Taimur also has a strong personality, he will be strong like his Abba. His parents are very strong-minded. Kareena madam is also a very strong-headed lady; she is so disciplined, and she is so strong,” she said. Lalita has previously said that Saif and Kareena never wanted their children to be raised like celebrities. Here, she also added that there was always a security guard with them whenever they went outside.

In an earlier chat with Hindustan Times, Lalita had said that she was “concerned for Taimur’s safety” when paparazzi all around Mumbai would chase him for photographs. She shared that when Taimur was little, even regular people would ask for selfies with the child.

During the incident at Saif and Kareena’s house, the intruder was seen heading towards 3-year-old Jeh’s bed and was spotted by the nanny. When she alerted the other members of the family, a scuffle ensued that led to Saif getting stabbed. The intruder got away then but has now been captured by the police.
