He described the moment he learned about his condition, saying, “I was filming when I suddenly fell. When the doctors checked me, they diagnosed me with a muscle disorder. The actor recalled feeling frightened and anxious about whether he would ever return to acting. “I was sitting at home when director Manmohan Desai, with whom I had worked on several films, came to see me. He told me not to worry and that he would arrange silent roles for me while I was in a wheelchair. I cannot express how significant it was for someone to see hope in me when I had lost it,” he shared.

Amitabh also praised the contestant’s wife, highlighting the strength and resilience women possess in supporting their partners through difficult times. “Women have the strength to face challenges and they stand by their partners no matter the circumstances,” he said.
