Saif Ali Khan, who has often spoken about co-parenting his children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, with his ex-wife Amrita Singh, is facing some backlash after his daughter, Sara, shared her experiences in a recent interview.
Sara revealed that when her mother Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan went through their divorce, she was very young and had to witness a lot of struggles. She mentioned that she realized during this tough period that no one was going to help them, and they had to manage everything on their own. Sara credited her mother for supporting her at every step of the way, saying that it was Amrita who helped her get to where she is today.

She did not demand alimony from Saif Ali Khan, even though she was entitled to far more than the 5 crore that Saif gave her as part of the divorce settlement. She chose not to ask for more, reportedly to avoid media attention regarding her divorce. In contrast, Saif Ali Khan went on to marry Kareena Kapoor in 2012 after a brief relationship with Italian model Rozza Catlano.
