Watch: Deepika Padukone’s mother shares update on actor’s and her newborn’s health
Deepika Padukone’s family shared that both she and her newborn daughter, born on September 8, 2024, are doing well. Deepika and Ranveer are yet to reveal the baby’s name or photos.

Actor Deepika Padukone’s mother, Ujjala, and sister, Anisha Padukone, recently shared an update about the actor and her newborn daughter’s health. Deepika and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, were blessed with a daughter on September 8, 2024.
Ujjala and Anisha Padukone were photographed by the paparazzi in Mumbai on Saturday, September 28. The mother-daughter duo looked stylish. While Anisha wore a black silk co-ord set, Ujjala was seen in a pink shirt and dark pants.
As Ujjala and Anisha were posing for the photographers, one of them asked about Deepika and her daughter’s well-being. Ujjala smiled and nodded her head, indicating that both Deepika and the baby are doing well.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced the birth of their daughter through a social media post. The couple, in a joint post, wrote, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika & Ranveer.” A few days later, Deepika changed her Instagram bio to “Feed. Burp. Sleep. Repeat,” reflecting the current phase of her life.
However, Deepika and Ranveer have neither shared a photo of their baby girl nor announced her name.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in an intimate and grand ceremony in Italy in 2018.
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, while Ranveer starred in the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The two will be seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
