Rivaba Jadeja Shastra Puja: On the occasion of Dussehra, Rivaba, wife of Indian cricket team’s key all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, performed Shastra Puja, which included the worship of sword and gun. Jadeja is fond of waving the sword, which he often displays after scoring a century or fifty.
New Delhi: On the occasion of Dussehra, weapon worship is done. According to Ramayana, on this day Lord Shri Ram freed Sita Mata by killing Ravana. This day is also known as Vijayadashmi. On this day, along with the worship of Lord Ram, weapon worship is also done as per rituals. Indian team all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba worshipped the sword as well as the pistol on this occasion.
Jadeja is with Team India
Ravindra Jadeja is currently with Team India. On the occasion of Dussehra, Rivaba Jadeja worshipped the pistol and sword by keeping a pallu on her head. Other people also worshipped there with her. After this, she also wished everyone a Happy Dussehra. After the puja, Rivaba Jadeja said – Today, on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, I got the opportunity to worship weapons. Happy Dussehra to everyone from me.
Jadeja is fond of swinging the sword
Ravindra Jadeja is a key player of the Indian team. He is very fond of waving the sword. After scoring a century in the match, he waves the cricket bat like a sword. Along with this, he does something similar after scoring a fifty. Waving the sword has become Jadeja’s signature style. After the T20 World Cup, he retired from this format. But he is still a key player of the team in ODIs and Tests. He can be seen on the field against New Zealand from October 16.
Rivaba Jadeja is a BJP MLA
Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja is an MLA. She filed nomination on a BJP ticket from Jamnagar North in the 2022 assembly elections. She won there and became an MLA. She has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. Rivaba has started an NGO named Shri Matrushakti Charitable Trust to help women and empower them.
