The name Kareena was derived from the book Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, that the Bollywood diva’s mother was reading while she was pregnant with her. Her family and close friends call her Bebo, a nickname that was given to her by her father, Randhir Kapoor.
Interestingly, the actress’ cousin, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s daughter and Ranbir Kapoor’s sister was named Riddhima, which rhymed with Siddhima.
