Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been making headlines for a while now due to their separation rumours. Following a viral deepfake video that appeared to confirm these rumours, another video of the actor is making rounds on the internet, where he can be seen shutting down the rumours and confirming that he is ‘still married.’

‘Still married,’ says Abhishek Bachchan

During a conversation with Bollywood UK Media, Abhishek was questioned about divorce rumours with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Quashing the rumours, he said, “I don’t have anything to say to you all about that. You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand, why you do it. You have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry (while flaunting his ring).

A few months ago, for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, the duo was spotted arriving separately. Abhishek arrived at the wedding with Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. Aishwarya was snapped with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. This is another incident that fueled the divorce rumours between Abhishek and Aishwarya.

For the unversed, Abishek and Aishwarya tied the knot in 2007. They welcomed their first child, Aaradhya in 2011. The duo have also worked in a couple of movies together including Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Naa Kaho, Guru, Dhoom 2, and Raavan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek is gearing up for a biggie as he is reportedly collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan in King. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film will also feature Suhana Khan. Abhishek is said to be playing a negative role in the film.
