Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has made headlines once again, this time for purchasing a new apartment just a week after becoming a mother. The new flat is located very close to her mother-in-law, Anju Bhavnani’s residence. Interestingly, the property was purchased under the name of the company owned by Deepika’s father, Prakash Padukone. This apartment is situated next to another property that Anju Bhavnani has leased to her daughter Ritika and son-in-law Jagjit Singh Bhavnani.

On the personal front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently became proud parents of a baby girl. The actress was admitted to a hospital in South Mumbai on September 7, and their daughter was born on September 8. The couple took to social media to announce the joyful arrival of their baby girl, writing, “Welcome Baby Girl.”

Deepika was discharged from the hospital on Sunday, September 15, and Ranveer was seen accompanying both his “Laxmis” back home. Deepika looked gorgeous in a simple avatar, while Ranveer twinned with her, making a stylish appearance. The couple ensured a quick exit from the hospital to maintain their baby’s privacy, leaving fans eager for a glimpse of the newborn.

During Deepika’s stay in the hospital, several family members and close friends visited to meet the new baby. Among them were her close friend Shah Rukh Khan and business tycoons Mukesh Ambani, along with Anant and Radhika Ambani, who came to congratulate the couple and meet the newborn.

While Deepika has returned home with her baby, the couple has yet to reveal their daughter’s name. In an earlier interview, Ranveer had expressed his desire to have a baby girl and mentioned that he had thought of many names for the baby. However, he humorously added that he wouldn’t reveal the names because people might steal them.

On the work front, fans are excited to see the power couple in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Singham Again, which is tentatively set to release this Diwali. Fans are also eagerly waiting to hear the name of Ranveer and Deepika’s little angel!
