Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are so candid in their relationship that when Akshay was asked if she ever gets critical about his work, he didn’t hesitate to spill the beans! With Ajay Devgn also in the conversation, Ajay jokingly mentioned that his wife Kajol is just as honest about his work, along with his kids Nysa and Yug.

In a chat with Hindustan Times, Akshay revealed, “I don’t take my wife for screenings so I have to sit with her and show her the film. And it falls in my ears, ‘sh*t scene hai, yeh bekaar hai.’ She will say it is very bad, the climax is very long, and the remarks keep on coming. The first time I took her for my trial, the producer came and asked how she found the film, she called it bakwas (terrible). That producer never worked with me again.”

He also added, “But I envy her for speaking her mind. Whenever she likes something, she praises it. She was very happy with Khel Khel Mein, even though it didn’t work, it was a hit film in my heart.”

Ajay Devgn shared that his family reacts in a similar way. He said, “Kajol and the children are also similar. With the newer generation, we upgrade ourselves, and we know the mindset, so we learn what is working. Where they have to criticise they do it, and thank god there is an invention called Airpods, after a point you can wear them and they can keep speaking.”

Meanwhile, during the same conversation, Ajay Devgn announced that his next directorial film will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn were recently seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. While Ajay took the lead as Bajirao Singham, Akshay made a special appearance. The movie also featured Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff in key roles.
