Saif Ali Khan’s Recovery and the Details of the Attack: Family Visits and Police Updates

As Saif Ali Khan recuperates at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after a shocking attack, his family has been by his side offering support. On Sunday, Kareena Kapoor Khan arrived at the hospital, accompanied by tight security. In a heartwarming moment, she was seen holding Saif’s hand as they walked towards the hospital entrance, while a staff member helped carry their son, Jeh, inside.

Saif’s sister, Soha Ali Khan, and her husband, Kunal Kemmu, were also spotted visiting the actor. The entire family has remained close-knit during this difficult time, with Saif’s mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, also arriving at the hospital later to offer her support.

The man accused of attacking Saif, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, was apprehended by the police on Saturday night. According to a police officer, Shahzad confessed to the crime, admitting, “Yes, I did it.” The police investigation revealed that Shahzad is a Bangladeshi national who entered India without valid identification documents.

Authorities have placed Shahzad in police custody until January 24 for further interrogation. The police also mentioned that the attacker had argued with the nanny in the house and demanded a sum of ₹1 crore. During the commotion, Saif Ali Khan arrived at the scene and confronted the attacker. The suspect, startled by Saif’s presence, reportedly attacked him from behind before fleeing the scene. Saif later locked the flat, believing the attacker was still inside. However, Shahzad managed to escape from the area.
